Crozer-Keystone Supports Annual Mammogram Screenings
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) has withdrawn its support for screening mammography for women 40-49 and for women over 75. The Task Force recommends that women ages 50-74 be screened every two years instead of annually. Crozer-Keystone does not support these recommendations. Crozer-Keystone Health System offers comprehensive breast health care at two, nationall-accredited breast health centers: Crozer-Chester Medical Center's Breast Health Services and Delaware County Memorial Hospitals' Center for Breast Health. Both centers have been accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.
