Home Care services are available to Crozer Regional Cancer Center cancer patients as needed. Home Care services include skilled nursing care; physicial, occupational and speech therapy; social work and home health aides. These highly skilled professionals work in cooperation with cancer center physicians to create individualized plans of care.
Hospice services are available for those patients who are no longer receiving active treatment, and whose disease is in the final stages. The Hospice team provides skilled nursing care including pain and symptom management. Social workers, home health aides and volunteers assist with various types of service. Bereavement counseling for caregivers is provided, as are support groups.
