Perinatology

Expectant mothers who have a higher risk for complications during pregnancy are with the right team when they come to Crozer or DCMH. Maternal/Fetal Medicine provides the most comprehensive and specialized care to women who are at-risk or who are experiencing complications during pregnancy.

Our maternal/fetal medicine team includes general obstetricians, midwives, perinatologists, a genetic counselor, neonatologists and specially trained nurses to help ensure a healthy pregnancy. Perinatologists are a vital part of the team because they specialize in the identification, education and treatment of high-risk pregnant women.
