Crozer-Keystone's Center for Diabetes to Host Free Lecture and Support Group at Crozer-Chester Medical Center

UPLAND - As part of its on-going efforts to educate the community about living with diabetes, the Center for Diabetes at Springfield Hospital will host a free diabetes lecture and support group on Oct. 5 in the James E. Clark Auditorium at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, One Medical Center Boulevard, Upland.

 

Lawrence Wallach, M.D., an endocrinologist at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, will present a program titled “Revolutionary New Approaches to Diabetes Treatment” from 7 to 8 p.m. The support group meeting will follow the lecture from 8 to 9 p.m.

 

Admission to both events is free and the public is invited to attend. For more information, call (610) 328-8920. 

 

The Center for Diabetes provides outpatient education for individuals with new onset or uncontrolled diabetes, or for those who desire intensive control. The center helps these individuals achieve blood glucose control by balancing meals, exercise and medication, when necessary.
