Taylor Hospital to Host Free Personal Appearance Program for Cancer Patients

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 2006

Ridley Park—Taylor Hospital’s Cancer Services department will host the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good, Feel Better” program on Wednesday, July 12, from 1-3 p.m. in Classroom C of the hospital.

Look Good, Feel Better is a free program that teaches beauty techniques to women who have undergone or are going to begin treatment for cancer, to help combat the appearance-related side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. Classes are taught by licensed and specially trained cosmetologists, and each woman practices techniques using products generously donated by the cosmetics industry.

Space is limited, so please call Kim Carroll to register at (610) 595-6730. Taylor Hospital is located at 175 E. Chester Pike in Ridley Park. Free parking.

Taylor Hospital is a member of the Crozer-Keystone Health System. We’re 5 hospitals, 2,600 doctors and nurses, and 7,100 caring people with 1 vision. Crozer-Keystone. Something to feel good about.
