GLEN MILLS, Pa. – Holiday traditions are unique to each individual and to every family. Learn techniques and methods for keeping family traditions, lifestyles and history going strong during “Keeping Your Holiday Memories Alive,” a special presentation scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake.
During the presentation, Barbara Alexis Looby, MSWAC, LSW, administrative director of Senior Health Services at Crozer-Keystone Health System, will demonstrate the importance of reminiscing and provide strategies to preserve one’s history. These methods will ensure the role your life plays in future generations. Tips on managing your time and prioritizing based on what is defined as “necessary for the holidays” will be provided, and thoughts, ideas and discussions will be generated around health and wellness during a potentially overwhelming period for seniors. To register for the event, or for more information, call 1-800-CK-HEALTH (1-800-254-3258).
Looby’s lecture is one of a series of events scheduled throughout the year at Crozer Medical Plaza. Next month’s event, “Coping with Anxiety,” featuring Susan K. Ball, M.D., director of geriatric psychiatry at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
