CHESTER– Crozer-Keystone Healthy Start will host a flea market and spring craft fair on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The flea market and craft fair will be held in the parking lot of Community Hospital, 2600 W. 9th St., Chester. Proceeds will benefit the Crozer-Keystone Healthy Start Emergency Supply Fund.
Flea market and craft fair spaces are available for $15 and spaces with table included are $25. Spaces are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for table registration is Friday, April 20.
Crozer-Keystone Healthy Start is a free program for pregnant women who have children younger than 24 months old, and who live in Chester, Chichester, Eddystone, Woodlyn, Parkside, Upland, Toby Farms, Chester Township, Trainer, Marcus Hook or Linwood.
The program offers hands-on medical and social service assistance for women and families in need. Healthy Start helps families connect with doctors and social services and stay up-to-date with their children’s shots and check-ups. The program also assists pregnant women with early and regular prenatal care and newborn assistance. Healthy Start also provides education on general health, childbirth, diet, exercise, nutrition, STDs, AIDS, diabetes, high blood pressure, and much more. Privacy is guaranteed, and Spanish-speaking case managers are available.
