Taylor Hospital Physicians to Present Lecture
on Menopause Symptoms, Treatments

RIDLEY PARK, Pa. Night sweats, mood swings, hot flashes – it’s enough to make any woman’s head spin! Join Crozer-Keystone’s Joel G. Moranz, M.D., an obstetrician/ gynecologist and chair of the Crozer-Keystone Menopause Committee, and Christine Clay, M.D., a hematologist/oncologist, for “Managing Menopause: Know the Symptoms, Know the Treatments,” on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 6 p.m. at Taylor Hospital, Classrooms A & B, 175 E. Chester Pike, Ridley Park.

 

During the lecture, Drs. Moranz and Clay will offer a look at the symptoms of menopause and perimenopause, the latest advances in Hormone Replacement Therapy, and alternative therapies for symptom management.

The lecture is one of a series of events scheduled in 2007 at Taylor Hospital. Next month’s event, “Heart Day” – featuring information from a variety of Taylor Hospital and Crozer-Keystone Health System departments, a free cooking demonstration and free screenings for cholesterol, glucose and more – is scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2007, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Classrooms A, B and C.
