Junior Board Presents Donation to
Taylor Hospital

Pictured (from left to right) are Judy Lieberman, director of Volunteer Services at Taylor Hospital; Christine Gasslein, Junior Board Ways and Means Committee Chair; Barbara Kifer, manager of the Junior Board Gift Shop at Taylor Hospital; and Diane Miller, president of Taylor Hospital.

Ridley Park, Pa. — At Taylor Hospital’s annual volunteer recognition luncheon, members of the Junior Board presented a check for $48,000 to hospital administration. This amount represents proceeds from sales at the Gift Shop and various other organized events held by the Junior Board.

The Junior Board is a group of local, dedicated women whose mission is to raise funds for Taylor Hospital. Active since 1931, the group has raised enough money to purchase new equipment (including two new trucks and new equipment for patient use) and fund the renovation of many hospital rooms and reception areas.

The Junior Board is always looking for new members to join their worthwhile cause and continue their spirit of community dedication. Anyone interested in joining should contact Taylor Hospital’s Volunteer Services department at (610) 595-6070.
