Glen Mills, Pa. – Dozens of people packed the Community Room at Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake to hear Leonard Hirsh, M.D. speak about the causes and treatments for low back pain. Dr. Hirsh is a neurosurgeon with the Crozer-Keystone Human Motion Institute at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
At the lecture, Dr. Hirsh educated participants about how the likely sources of pain change with a person’s age and what investigations or tests are usually done to evaluate a person’s complaint of low back pain. He spent time after the presentation talking one-on-one with participants and answered any questions they had. Dr. Hirsh’s presentation was part of a lecture series held by the physicians and surgeons of the Crozer-Keystone Human Motion Institute. The lecture series will begin again in September 2007.
