FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 2008

Ridley Park— Join Stuart Gordon, M.D., chief of the Section of Orthopaedic Surgery at Taylor Hospital, and physician for the Crozer-Keystone Human Motion Institute, for an informative lecture, “New Innovations in Hip and Knee Surgery.” Dr. Gordon will give his presentation at two convenient locations: Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at the Springfield Library (70 Powell Rd., Springfield), and Thursday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Ridley Township Municipal Library (100 E. Get the facts about some of the newer techniques now being used in hip and knee replacement procedures. During this presentation, Dr. Gordon will discuss the symptoms and treatments for osteoarthritis; when to seek a physician’s evaluation of a hip or knee problem, and when surgery may be needed; an understanding of minimally invasive joint replacement surgery, and what to expect before, during and after the procedure; and other new techniques available to treat hip and knee problems.
