Kat Spence, new Master designer at The Spa at the Healthplex, puts finishing touches on client's new hair style.

The Spa at the Healthplex recently welcomed Hair Designer Kat Spence to its team of professional stylists.

Kat completed beauty school in Philadelphia and has continued to advance her education in hair design over the past 37 years. Holding the title of a “master” designer, Kat traveled throughout the world for 20 years doing work as a platform artist, exposing herself to the newest and up-to-date trends.

Specializing in haircutting, coloring, perming, and relaxing, Kat has had celebrity clientele such as Sister Sledge.

“I’m very happy to join the Spa at the Healthplex team,” says Kat. “I style hair according to the individual and their facial characteristics as well as personal lifestyle.”
