UPLAND - A Ridley Park boy who was a former Intensive Care Nursery patient at Crozer-Chester Medical Center recently raised money to support other premature babies and their families. Twelve-year-old Kevin Daly raised $200 from family and friends to donate to the St. Stephens Quilt Project, which provides quilts and other items to children who have been born prematurely.
Along with his family, Daly presented the money to Carolyn Boxmeyer of the St. Stephens Quilt Project at Crozer’s Intensive Care Nursery in October.
Daly’s project was tied to his confirmation at St. Madeline’s Church in Ridley Park.
