Crozer-Keystone Spine Surgeon to Present
Lecture on Back Problems and Treatments
on February 27

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 2008

Springfield, Pa. – Join Gerard Foti, D.O., spine surgeon with the Crozer-Keystone Human Motion Institute at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, for an informative lecture, “Back to the Future: New Developments in Spine Surgery.” The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake, 300 Evergreen Drive, Glen Mills. Free giveaways and information will be available.

At this lecture, you will learn more about common spine problems and how they are treated, when surgery may be needed, and what options are available—including new surgical techniques. Dr. Foti will be available after the lecture to answer participants’ questions.

If you have ever had back pain, you won’t want to miss this in-depth look at the most common causes of this very common condition and what you can do to get relief—and get back to life! For more information or to register, call 1-877-CK-MOTION (1-877-256-6846).

Dr. Foti is a renowned spine surgeon who has received training in and performs the most advanced spine surgical procedures in this area. Most recently, he completed a cervical disc replacement surgical procedure at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Artificial disc replacement (ADR) is an alternative to spinal fusion for the treatment of degenerative disc disease. ADR devices are designed to preserve motion, potentially limiting the incidence of degenerative changes in the discs above and below the surgical site.
