Ridley Park, PA – Taylor Hospital is pleased to announce that the chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Gregory Cuculino, M.D., has been awarded the 2nd Quarter Horace Furness Taylor, M.D., Physician Service Excellence Award. This award is intended to honor the physician who has distinguished himself or herself through their contributions to Taylor Hospital by displaying a strong commitment to service excellence, quality of care, community involvement and leadership.
Cuculino is the first Vice President of the hospital’s Medical and Dental Staff, which he has been a member of since 2003. He is a member of the Medical Executive Committee and is also chairman of the Credentials Committee at Taylor Hospital.
Horace Furness Taylor, M.D., and his wife, Katherine Taylor, R.N., celebrated the opening of their 10-bed hospital on February 10, 1910. Naturally, things have changed quite a bit from that time 98 years ago when Taylor Hospital was a Victorian-era house nestled on the corner of Felton and Dutton Streets. History has clearly proven Taylor’s commitment to compassionate care, community involvement and leadership. Horace Furness Taylor was a pioneer in the delivery of health care in our community. Because of this, Taylor Hospital decided to develop this award in his name.
Nominations for this award are accepted from any member of the Taylor Hospital family—including employees, administration and management, volunteers and the Medical and Dental staff.
Taylor Hospital is a member of the Crozer-Keystone Health System. We’re 5 hospitals, 2,600 doctors and nurses, and 7,100 caring people with 1 vision. Crozer-Keystone. Something to feel good about.
