Upland, Pa. – Psychotherapist and pain management physician Erlinda Sabili, M.D., of Wallingford received a “Spirit of Crozer” award at Crozer-Chester Medical Center’s recent employee service awards ceremony at Springfield Country Club. Presented annually, the Bertram Speare “Spirit of Crozer” awards are given to employees who advance Crozer’s mission by reaching “within and beyond” the boundaries of the campus to serve patients, co-workers and communities.
Since becoming a part of the Crozer team, Sabili has developed an expertise on pain management that is unique to psychiatry. She is often asked to address conferences and speak on the subject matter.
Sabili’s compassion for her patients and the extraordinary caseload she handles day to day are well-respected and admired. However, her works do not end with just Crozer.
Sabili earned the “Spirit of Crozer’ award because of her unending devotion to help others. She can be found picking up groceries for patients in her spare time as well as offering support to families and helping with parking for poor and disabled patients. On the one day that she has off, she spends that time taking care of indigent patients.
Crozer-Chester Medical Center is a 388-bed tertiary care facility that is part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, the largest employer and health care provider in Delaware County. The medical center admits nearly 20,000 patients, treats approximately 50,000 Emergency Department patients, and delivers about 2,000 babies a year. For more information, visit www.crozer.org.
