Chester, Pa. – In an all-campus election, Pauline Pappas of Woodlyn was recently named Community Hospital’s Employee of the Year. Pappas received the honor during a recent employee service awards ceremony at the Springfield Country Club.
Pappas is a social worker with Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Child and Family Services department. She also works in the Delaware County Intermediate Unit’s school-age programs at Collingdale Community School.
“Pauline is an individual whose hard work, dedication and compassion are evident to clients, their families, fellow coworkers and management,” says Colleen Cullen Swayze, community service coordinator.
Pappas exemplifies a standard of excellence in the organization by providing the highest level of clinical work as well as a willingness to go beyond the requirements of the position to ensure excellent care for clients. She works hard to advocate for and identify resources and interventions that could benefit the adolescent on her caseload.
Pappas is well respected by her colleagues and clients as being honest, loyal, caring and persistent.
