Dining at Dusk: Crozer-Keystone is proud to present “Dining at Dusk,” a low-cost dining program that offers free lectures geared toward seniors. Join us for these events in May:
Impact of Chronic Hearing Problems, featuring Kenneth Briskin, M.D., chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Thursday, May 1, 5-7 p.m., Crozer-Chester Medical Center, One Medical Center Blvd., Upland. Lecture is free; meal costs $5.30 and includes entrée, roll, choice of two sides, dessert and a fountain drink.

Reinvent The Three R’s: Reeducate, Rejuvenate and Rejoice - Celebrating the Aging Experience: Crozer-Keystone’s Senior Health Services department will once again host its annual “Reinvent The Three R’s: Reeducate, Rejuvenate and Rejoice - Celebrating the Aging Experience,” on Wednesday, May 14 at the Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center in Drexel Hill. The event, which will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., will offer free health and wellness lectures as well as rejuvenation activities, free gifts, food and more. Note: Appointments for rejuvenation activities (massage, manicures, facial consults, etc.) are necessary, and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis on the morning of the event.
Wake Up and Work Out: Start your day the healthy way! Come join us as Crozer-Keystone Senior Health Services and the Healthplex® Sports Club provide seniors with an opportunity to jump start their day by participating in structured health and wellness programs, while offering an affordable balanced breakfast. Participants will also benefit from the support of CKHS staff that will assist in coordinating medical appointments, as well as provide better access to appropriate medical services.
Program will be offered on the first Tuesday of every month. A healthy breakfast, beginning at 7:45 a.m., may be purchased for $3 or less; followed by a 30-minute lecture, both to be held in Café Carl. AARP Defensive Driving: An eight-hour driving safety course held on two days that can help you improve your driving skills and save you money on insurance. Courses will be held on Tuesday, May 6 and Friday, May 9, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. at the Healthplex® Sports Club in Springfield; Saturday, May 10 and Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Classrooms A & B of Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park; Tuesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 29 in the Community Room of Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake. Cost of the course is $10, with check made payable to AARP.
