Springfield, Pa. – In honor of Older Americans Month, Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Senior Health Services department will host its annual “Reinvent the Three R’s…Reeducate, Rejuvenate and Rejoice – Celebrate the Aging Experience” on Wednesday, May 14, at the Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center in Drexel Hill. Keynote speaker for the event is Susan McWhinney-Morse, founder and member of Beacon Hill Village, a nonprofit organization designed to give the 50+ population the means and confidence to live their lives to the fullest in their own homes as they grown older. Ms. McWhinney-Morse will speak at 10:15 a.m. in the South Ballroom.
The event, which will run from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., will offer free lectures by Crozer-Keystone physicians and clinicians on topics including diabetes, nutrition, medications and more. Representatives from various Crozer-Keystone departments will be on hand, and lots of information will be available.
You are also invited to participate in rejuvenation activities that will go on all day, including manicures, facial consults, yoga or Pilates, dancing, massage and more. Please note that appointments for rejuvenation activities are necessary, and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis on the morning of the event.
