DREXEL HILL, Pa. – Delaware County Memorial Hospital will host a special Maternity Event, “From Here to Maternity…Your Journey Through Conception, Pregnancy and Childbirth” on Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m.-noon in the Conference Center of the hospital. Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m.
This event will feature informational sessions on the topics that pregnant women and their families care about most. Those topics include: pre-pregnancy care, what to expect during each trimester, delivery day, post-delivery changes for mom, breastfeeding 101, safety, first aid and CPR; and information on childbirth education classes, nutrition, and exercise. There will also be raffles for a car seat, gift basket, gift certificates and more. Giveaways and information from Babies ‘R’ Us will be also be offered.
