Taylor Hospital's Moleski Appointed President of
Local ASHFSA Chapter

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 2008

Joseph Moleski, Director of Nutrition
Services at Taylor Hospital

Ridley Park, Pa.— Joseph Moleski, director of Nutrition Services at Taylor Hospital, was elected president of the Philadelphia/South Jersey chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Food Service Administrators, ASHFSA.

Moleski’s year-long term began August 1, 2008, succeeding past president, Kim Norton, former director of Nutrition Services at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Moleski, an ASHFSA board member for several years, served as Norton’s vice president from 2006-2008.

The ASHFSA, affiliated with the American Hospital Association, is a premier source of professional education and networking for food and nutrition service management professionals. Members include representatives from various health care institutions from across the country, and serve roles such as directors or administrators responsible for patient food service management, cafeteria vending/catering management, clinical nutrition services and support services/multi-department or multi-unit management.

As president of the Philadelphia/South Jersey chapter of this prestigious national organization, Moleski’s responsibilities include: holding quarterly meetings, appointing committee chairpersons, maintaining active direction of the chapter’s activities, executing established policies and procedures of the chapter, and continuously communicating with all members.

Moleski will strive to increase membership while sparking interest in the organization through the development of its website. He looks forward to the annual educational symposium in March, where programs and activities designed to foster continuing education for members take place. The education at the symposium allows members to generate new ideas about more efficient and innovative ways to operate their specific food service department.

Taylor Hospital is a member of the Crozer-Keystone Health System. We’re 5 hospitals, 2,600 doctors and nurses, and 7,100 caring people with 1 vision. Crozer-Keystone. Something to feel good about.
