Building Bridges – This session provides a definition of diversity and addresses stereotypes and assumptions. It is interactive with the audience, and includes an exercise on stereotypes and a quiz on assumptions that are made regarding various ethnic groups. A short video is shown that demonstrates how to use an interpreter effectively in a healthcare setting. There is a presentation fee for non CKHS entities. Educational Workshops – These one hour workshops can be provided via interpreter for participants who are Limited English Proficient (LEP) on accessing healthcare services and other healthcare, wellness and behavioral health topics for school parent groups, community groups, and faith-based organizations.
