CKHS Announces Plans to Open Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake

Crozer-Keystone Health System will soon introduce the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake, a comprehensive ambulatory care facility in western Delaware County.

The Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake will be a comprehensive outpatient center providing an array of diagnostic, surgical and physician services. The three-story building will be conveniently located in Glen Mills, just off of Rte. 1 and adjacent to such landmarks as the Shoppes at Brinton Lake and J. Franklin Styer Nurseries.

“Crozer-Keystone Health System is proud to announce the addition of this much-needed facility,” says Joan Richards, chief operating officer of Crozer-Keystone Health System and president of CKHS Hospitals. “The area of Delaware County where the facility will be located has experienced tremendous population growth in recent years. We look forward to the opportunity to provide this thriving community with quality health care, close to home.”

All services will be provided on an outpatient basis. The services available at the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake will be provided by independent physician groups who have existing relationships with Crozer-Keystone. Among the anticipated services are:

  • Outpatient surgery
  • Laboratory services
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Orthopedics and outpatient physical therapy
  • Cardiology
  • Primary care
  • Obstetrics and gynecology
  • Pain management
  • Ophthalmology
  • Asthma and allergy
  • Pediatrics

“Families prefer to receive their health care close to where they live. This new facility will provide residents of western Delaware County with convenient access to a wide array of health services,” says Gerald Miller, president and chief executive officer of Crozer-Keystone Health System.

The facility is designed to make the patient experience as pleasant as possible. For instance, it will feature ample parking, a covered drop-off area, a concierge to help visitors and a community room for patient education programming.

“The facility will combine state-of-the-art offices and medical technology with a comfortable, attractive appearance,” says Rick Hassold, director of Real Estate Services for CKHS and project manager of the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake.

For more information about the new facility, contact Hassold at (610) 338-8209.
