Healthy Living after 50
July 2008
  Director's Corner

by Barbara Alexis Looby, MSWAC, Administrative Director of CKHS Senior Health Services

Sometimes, in the midst of personal darkness, one finds words of encouragement to guide us on our journeys. In this newsletter, I have chosen to share with you words written by a family member for a loved one who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. I am always amazed at how we all seek and, if we are lucky, find inspiration. My hope is that regardless of where you are at this point in your journey, regardless of what health or other life-changing issues you are battling, these words will inspire you and give you the resolve to conquer the path that is laid before you.
