Healthplexâ Junior Swim Team Enjoys Strong Finish

The Healthplex® Sports Club junior swim team, also known as the Piranhas, finished their season on a strong note in late February at the Pioneer League Championships at Chichester High School. To prepare for the event, the team’s 35 young swimmers practiced three days a week to improve their strokes, starts, turns and overall speed. The work showed great results throughout the season. Their times improved, their strokes became more efficient and disqualifications disappeared.

After the season was over, team members continue to participate in stroke and turn clinics to prepare for summer competition and to build a stronger, more competitive team for next season. Team registration begins in August and early September for the Pioneer League winter season.
