Patients and Visitors Recognize Shining Star Employees
The Shining Star Caregiver Recognition Program complements Crozer-Keystone Health System’s efforts to recognize employees for their commitment to service excellence.
Patients and visitors at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Delaware County Memorial Hospital now have an opportunity to formally honor an employee or an entire department for making their stay more comfortable — from Patient Registration and Billing to Security and Facilities Services.
Donations that are made in honor of our Shining Stars will be used to ensure our hospitals have the resources they need to continue providing exceptional health care programs and services.
We are pleased to announce the following Shining Star employees for April through July 2005:

DCMH Employees to Support Purchase of New Ambulances
“DCMH Employees Answer the Call 24/7” is the theme for the new Employee Campaign at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, which will respond to a critical need for new ambulances for the hospital.
Ambulance service is a critical component in responding to the critically ill and injured population in our community. The first response efforts provided by the EMS team arriving at the scene by ambulance allow for the early stabilization of patients and the start of the diagnosis process before they arrive at the Emergency Department.
Michael Good, Robert Hadden, Cheryl Henry, and Rose Isaacson, the 2006-2008 Employee Campaign committee chairs, and their committee are planning special fun-filled events during the six-week campaign to raise $150,000 for the purchase of two new ambulances for DCMH. A kick-off celebration will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5, and events will be held each Wednesday following that until the wrap-up event on Nov. 16.
Drawings for fabulous prizes and gift certificates will be held throughout the campaign. Pledge cards may be returned to your department head, deposited in the designated box in the cafeteria or sent via interoffice mail to the Delco Memorial Foundation.
