Cardiac Scoring is offered in our CT scan suite using our 16 slice CT scanner. When a patient arrives in our suite, a CT professional greets the patient and escorts them to our exam room. The patient lies on the CT table and is hooked up to a heart monitor. The technologist obtains images of the arteries in the heart. Once the patient leaves the suite, the images are processed using a special program that analyzes the amount of plaque. |
