Fluoroscopy Room
Fluoroscopy is a diagnostic test that uses a continuous beam of X-rays to follow movement in the body. The images resulting from fluoroscopy are displayed on a video monitor. Fluoroscopy is often used to observe the digestive tract. Some common procedures are upper gastrointestinal tract X-ray, small bowel series and barium enemas.
Featured Procedure:

Normal stomach
Upper gastrointestinal tract radiography, also called an upper GI, is an X-ray examination of the pharynx, esophagus, stomach and the first part of the small intestine (also known as the duodenum) that uses a special form of X-ray called fluoroscopy and an orally ingested contrast medium called barium.
Fluoroscopy studies are performed at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Springfield Hospital, Taylor Hospital, Media Medical Imaging and the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake.
