Center for Youth Development

Established in 1998, the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Center for Youth Development (CYD) increases the competencies of adult stakeholders to incorporate the positive youth development (PYD) approach into daily practices. CYD advances PYD exemplary practices through specialized training and targeted technical assistance to adult stakeholders, and strengthens the capacity of neighborhoods to support PYD through the promotion of community youth development activities.
