The Chester Biddy Association is a non-profit organization located in Chester, Pa. It is primarily operated through volunteer efforts. Its purpose is to provide an organized program of competitive athletics and related activities for children ages six through twelve. We also provide various educational and informational programs in an effort to bridge the gap of competition in athletics and education. The mission is to teach fundamental skills of an activity while stressing discipline and a commitment to teamwork and sportsmanship. The goal is to uplift children by promoting a sense of belonging, keeping children “off the streets,” strengthening community involvement, promoting harmony, increasing self-esteem, and emphasizing a commitment to excellence.
The Association consists of 20 teams in the 5-6 year old division and 7-8 year old division; 14 teams in the 9-10 year old division and 10 teams in the 11-12 year old division. Akin to basketball, the cheerleading program also consists of three divisions: a 6-7-8 year old division; a 9-10 year old division; and an 11-12 year old division. All games are held at Smedley Middle School, located in Chester, Pa.
