Risk Management Continuing Medical Education

CKHS enables physicians to obtain Act 13 mandated patient safety and risk management CME credits by providing them with related articles, as well as questions and answers to test their knowledge approximately six times a year.

Previous to July 2006, these articles, questions and answers appeared in CK Script. Starting in August 2006, CKHS began providing this material on its website. For your convenience, all Risk Management CME material that appeared in CK Script in 2006 has been posted here. You can access this material, which is arranged via subject, by selecting from the titles to your right. The questions and answers are posted as PDFs within their respective subject links.

To obtain CME credit, read the article, print out the questions - and answer them. Answers to quizzes are posted in the same subject link as the articles and quizzes.

Physicians may self claim one (1) AMA PRA Category 2 Credit for each 60-minute hour engaged in the learning activity. Physicians may claim credit in 15 minute, or 0.25 credit increments, and round to the nearest quarter hour. No fees are charged for this credit.

Each article is eligible for category 2 CME credit. It is your responsibility, in case you are audited by your licensure board, to keep a record of your credits. We suggest you keep the quiz, your answers and a copy of the correct answers that will appear the following month in this section of crozer.org, http://ckhscme.crozer.org.

If you have any questions, please call Nancy Young at (610) 447-2995, 15-2995, or Joan Meighan, (610) 284-8156, 12-8156.
