The Children's Health Insurance Program of Pennsylvania (CHIP) provides low-cost or no-cost health insurance to families who otherwise could not afford insurance on their own. Unfortunately, many Pennsylvanians who qualify for CHIP have never heard of the program, or if they have, may need help filling out the application forms.
The Delaware County Council wants to help the people of Delaware County become aware of CHIP, learn how the program can help them and their familieis gain access to health insurance and much-needed medical services and help them apply for CHIP.
For more information, visit the CHIP website at http://www.chipcoverspakids.com or call 1-800-986-KIDS. You may also contact Delaware County Council at 610-891-5311 or visit their website at http://www.co.delaware.pa.us.com.
