The Healthplex^® Sports Club has partnered with several local 5K road races throughout the fall of 2007 and the spring of 2008 to create a separate, friendly competition for Delco runners. Participants in any these races are invited to also enter the Race Series - free of charge - by simply completing a registration form.

Race Series participants compete against each other for prizes at the end of each race, as well as cumulative prizes at the end of the five-race series. Runners accumulate points based on how they finish in each race. Top prize is $300 and a six-month membership to the Healthplex^Ò. Because points are cumulative, it pays to register early in the series.

The 2^nd Annual Series Begins Sept. 29, 2007 with the Eagle National Bank 5K Walk/Run in Drexel Hill and ends on June 13 at the 8th Running of the Monk in Springfield. A complete listing of races – with links to registration information for each race – is available here.

Dozens of runners competed in the first year of the race, which ran from September 2006 to June 2007.
