Pre-Placement & Mandated Medical Surveillance Programs

 

New Hire physical examinations are designed to identify health problems and conditions that may be aggravated by job duties.  In addition, the examination helps establish baseline data indexes for future health monitoring.

 

OSHA Compliance:

 

•   Biological monitoring and examinations for: Respirator Clearance, Lead, Asbestos, Cadmium, Benzene and Hazardous Materials)

  Respirator Fit Testing

  Respirator Clearance Evaluations

  Hearing Conservation

•   Bloodborne Pathogens

 

(DOT) Dept. of Transportation Drug/Alcohol Compliance:

 

•   Random Management Programs for small-to-large employers. Consortium or private pool.

  Drug/Alcohol testing at your worksite or COH.

  DOT/PENNDOT Exams - New hire and re-certification.

  After-hours drug/alcohol screenings: post-accident/reasonable suspicion at your worksite or COH, 24/7, 365 days per year.

•   Policy development and policy reviews.

  Compliance and consulting services: DOT audit support, regulation interpretation.

 

New-Hire Testing:

 

  Drug/alcohol testing: urine, hair, oral fluid/saliva, breath and blood.

  "Rapid" drug test results available within 1 hour.

•   Examinations and functional assessments to determine if individual can safely perform essential functions of the job.

  Immunizations - Hepatitis A-B-C.

  Diagnostic studies: Hearing, Pulmonary Function, Laboratory.

 

Physical Capability Assessments, Industrial Rehab, Job Simulation:

 

  Job task analysis to minimize risk of injury.

  On-site safety training.

  On-site educational sessions; injury prevention training.

 

Health & Wellness Services:

 

    Flu Program. COH will travel to any location within the Tri-County area.

    Tuberculin skin tests and immunizations. 

    Police and firefighter physical exams.

    Executive physical examinations for executive, management & salaried staff.
