
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology offers comprehensive services in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
Millions of Americans suffer from digestive disorders, such as esophageal and colon cancers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease – conditions that can profoundly affect both the health and overall quality of life of those afflicted. The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology aims to provide our patients with the highest quality of health care.
The Division has four centers of excellence covering the full range of digestive disorders. These centers are staffed by physicians who are specialists in their field, and have years of experience in treating complex and rare disorders. The centers for excellence include:
• Screening for Gastrointestional Cancers
• Center for Hepatology
• Center for Advanced Endoscopy
• Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
The Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division is affiliated with the Temple University School of Medicine. Our faculty is active in the teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents.
