Linda S. Callans, M.D., is director of the Center for Breast Health, located at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. She is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in breast surgery. Dr. Callans received her medical degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and completed her residency in General Surgery and research fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. She spent eight years on the faculty in the Division of Surgical Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on breast cancer, before joining the breast cancer team at DCMH in 2003 as Director of Breast Health Services.
Deborah Markiewicz, M.D., is a breast radiation oncologist at DCMH who is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and specializes in the treatment of breast cancer. She received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, and completed her residency and fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Monica Smith, M.D., is a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of breast cancer. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and completed her post-graduate training and fellowship in Hematology/Oncology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Geraldine Hamilton, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist who specializes in breast imaging and biopsy at DCMH. She received her medical degree from Women's Medical College and completed her residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center.
Theresa Power, D.O., is a board-certified radiologist who specializes in mammography, ultrasound needle localizations and ultrasound-guided biopsies at DCMH. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at Harvard Medical School's Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital and Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Virginia Speare, Ph.D., is director of Prevention and Risk of Cancer Assessment (PARCA) Program Services for the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center at DCMH. She is certified in genetic counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counselors. Dr. Speare received a doctoral degree in biology from Bryn Mawr College and completed her clinical training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
