Having a mammogram is an important step in safeguarding your health. It is the most reliable tool for detecting breast cancer early, before symptoms appear—often before a breast lump can be felt. Early detection of breast cancer is the first and most important step toward successful treatment of this disease. So talk with your doctor about when you should begin having regular mammograms.

Center for Breast Health Opens at DCMH
Delaware County women can now take care of all of their breast health concerns in one location: the DCMH Center for Breast Health, dedicated to helping women deal with breast lumps, abnormal mammograms, nipple discharge, or breast pain. In addition, women who have just been diagnosed with breast cancer can seek a second opinion. More> |
