We are nothing less than overjoyed to be able to share with you information about our paramedic department!

Crozer-Chester Medical Center’s Emergency Medical Services team is the oldest Advanced Life Support (ALS) service in Delaware County, operating since 1974. Located in Delaware County in Southeast Pennsylvania, we serve 15 municipalities, including the area from the Delaware state line to the Philadelphia City line along the Delaware River.

The team, which consists of 56 full-time paramedics, 6 part-timers, and 10 PRN staff, handles approximately 18,000 emergency responses per year with 5 ALS transport ambulances and 3 ALS aid cars.  We also provide routine and critical care transfers with Critical Care certified paramedics.
