The following Standards of Care have been approved by the Crozer Emergency Medical Services Medical Director and the Emergency Medical Services Chief for utilization by all Crozer EMS Paramedic and Physician Medical Command staff.
The Standards of Care will serve the following functions:
- Standing Orders for the pre-hospital emergency care providers of Crozer EMS.
- Resource Document for Crozer EMS Medical Command Physicians who authorize those advance life Support providers under their medical control to provide advanced life support care.
- Clinical Criteria for the evaluation of pre-hospital care rendered by Crozer EMS pre-hospital emergency care providers, and medical command orders provided by Crozer emergency department medical commander physicians.
