FEMA Program: “Are You Prepared?”

This FEMA program on how to prepare for an emergency was recently delivered to audiences in Springfield and Brookhaven. This program can be tailored for delivery to school-age child or adult learners. Contact Chief Tim Quinn at 610-328-8716 if you are interested in this program for your group or class.

Bystander CPR Saves a Life

We would like to take this opportunity to point out that YOU are an important link in the “Chain of Survival.” Recently, Medic 106 responded to a call of a ‘woman down’ to find the subject in cardiac arrest upon our arrival. Due to the quick actions of two bystanders who witnessed the cardiac arrest and provided CPR before our arrival, this patient was successfully resuscitated and was awake and talking by the time she arrived at  the ED. Call 610-447-6181 to register for community CPR classes.
