At the annual service awards banquet at the Springfield Country Club, Springfield Hospital named its Manager of the Year; in 2008, that manager was Tim Quinn, director of Emergency Medical Services.
Tim Quinn, who began his career as a paramedic in 1985, has been an employee of the Crozer-Keystone Health System since December 1996, beginning his CKHS paramedic tenure at Taylor Hospital. He transferred to Delaware County Memorial Hospital in 1998, and became the manager of the EMS department.
In 2006, Tim transferred into the position of director of the EMS department Springfield Hospital. Tim has held the position of fire chief for the Morton Fire Company and still gets excited at the sound of a fire alarm. He has become an active employee of Springfield Hospital, coordinating the ACLS program and speaking at hospital functions. He is an important link to the surrounding communities —participating in programs, activities and drills, and keeping us connected to updates on disaster drills. He is proactive and a team player with a no-nonsense and straightforward attitude.
Tim and his wife, Theresa, live in Lincoln University, PA, with their children.
