Ilya Volfson, M.D., is an attending physician in urology at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Springfield Hospital and Taylor Hospital.

Fellowship trained in Laparoscopic, Robotic and Endourologic surgery, Dr. Volfson specializes in minimally invasive treatment of a variety of urologic diseases. During his fellowship, Dr. Volfson  had subspecialty training in Robot-Assisted Urologic Surgery – da Vinci Surgical System, Targeted Cryoablation (freezing of the tumor) for Urologic Applications and GreenLight Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate as well as endoscopic treatment of kidney stones.

Dr. Volfson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and attended Albany Medical College in New York. He completed his post-graduate training in urologic surgery at the University Hospital of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School, followed by the fellowship at the Hackensack University Medical Center.

He is a member of the American Urologic Association, The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Endourological Society.
