Laser Surgical Services

For more than 20 years, Taylor Hospital has been offering advanced laser surgical services to the people of Delaware County and beyond. We use only the most advanced, tested techniques in six inpatient and outpatient surgical suites featuring laser services..

The Benefits of Laser Surgery

Lasers have been used in the field of medicine for many years, to repair damage to eyes, ears, kidneys and bladder.

When combined with the surgeon's technique, lasers can minimize patient pain and promote faster recovery from many procedures.

Lasers are precise and accurate surgical tools.

Types of Lasers Used at Taylor Hospital

Taylor Hospital's laser surgery services use two types of lasers:

YAG Laser

Most commonly used after cataract surgery to correct secondary membrane formation

Can alleviate prostate disorders by reducing the prostate gland

Can treat bladder cancers without creating an incision

CO-2 Laser

Used to remove superficial skin lesions

Allows the surgeon to remove early cancers from the oral cavity and to help restore hearing to the middle ear
