In Memoriam – Susan Reiley
In August 2004, Susan Reiley, a registered nurse at Delaware County Memorial Hospital passed away from breast cancer at the age of 28.
Susan worked for DCMH for six years and in 2004 was named Nurse of the Year, because of the impact she made on those she cared for with her compassionate spirit.
Despite her illness, Susan handled life with grace, courage and dignity. She remains an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The Susan Reiley Memorial Fund was established to commemorate Susan’s memory and help ease the financial burden of women battling cancer at DCMH.
