General Information

 

 

The Clinical Neurophysiology Program begins in July and runs for 18 consecutive months. Academic classes will vary, but are held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily most weekdays. Rotations through the Crozer-Keystone Sleep Centers at Taylor Hospital require students to report on evening and night shifts. Attendance at an occasional Saturday or evening workshop is also required. The school is closed for six legal holidays, a winter vacation and summer break.

  • Tuition: $7,000.00
  • Uniforms: $150.00 
  • Travel/parking fees to clinical affiliates (undetermined) 
  • Professional Membership Fee: $60.00 
  • National Registration Exam Fee Part I: $295.00
  • Books approximately: $750.00 

Medical Insurance Coverage
It is the responsibility of the student to maintain medical insurance coverage while enrolled in the School of Clinical Neurophysiology. Students will provide proof of medical coverage upon admittance to the school. Failure to maintain medical insurance coverage will result in dismissal from the program. Any change in insurance coverage will require the student to submit a completed "Change in Status Form" to the school faculty.

 

Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance is available to Crozer-Keystone Health System employees and their families in return for an employment commitment within the system.

 

Grading Periods
Grading periods are divided into four quarters. Each quarter consists of class time and clinical experience. Time spent in clinical areas varies as patient contact responsibilities increase.

 

Students must consistently maintain a minimum of 70% cumulative average in clinical and academic areas.
