Minimum Qualifications of Applicants |
| |
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing from an NLNAC or CCNE-accredited program or its equivalent
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse
- A GPA of 3.0 (3.5 for post-masters in nursing)
- A minimum of one year of experience as a registered professional nurse in critical care nursing
- References that are current and attest to the candidate’s clinical skill and ability to do graduate work
- Satisfactory performance on the Miller Analogies test (MAT) or the verbal and analytical portion of the GRE (waived if have post-masters in nursing)
- Satisfactory completion of a statistics course
- Satisfactory academic record
- A personal statement identifying career goals that are congruent with the purposes of the program and indicate appropriate communication skills
- Admission interview
- ACLS certification
