The administration of Crozer-Chester Medical Center, in addition to operating a primary care facility, realizes the value of the medical center for teaching purposes. This dual role has offered the community comprehensive medical care and educational opportunities for area residents in a variety of technical and professional fields. One of these health care fields is the program in Diagnostic Radiology.

The program in Radiologic Technology was established in 1948 and has continuously educated students in the art and science of this field. Modern and sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic equipment is available for the student’s clinical experience, along with a well-equipped classroom facility and experienced program faculty.

Under the supervision of the professional staff and clinical instructors, the student radiographer will acquire skills to perform the diagnostic examinations that are indispensable to modern medicine. Graduates of this program are prepared for a career in Diagnostic Radiology in a hospital, private practice, public health or the military.
