Certification – ARRT

After successful completion of the Radiography Program, the graduate is eligible to sit for the certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). This exam is offered nationwide, on computer, and may be taken at any time upon successful completion of the program.

Passing the exam earns the privilege of being a registered technologist and using "R.T." after his/her name. The A.R.R.T. is recognized in all fifty states as well as most foreign countries.

Certification in the specialized areas is also available to reflect your educational accomplishments and may be required to work professionally in these areas.

Many states have state licensure requirements, however, the A.R.R.T. certification is accepted in all states to fulfill the state regulations.

For more information on the A.R.R.T. see http://www.arrt.org/
