Many perspective students ask if the Respiratory Care Program can be pursued on a part-time basis. They also want to know if the courses can be taken at night or on the weekends.Any non-respiratory courses can be taken whenever DCCC offers them.
It is important to realize that many of the courses have prerequisites so the order in which courses are taken is important. It is best to consult the Program Director or the Admissions Counselor for academic advising. Please refer to the DCCC web site for more specific information regarding non-respiratory course schedules.
Once enrolled in the Respiratory Program, courses must be taken sequentially and courses delivered in the semester must be taken together. For example, Respiratory Therapy Principles I must be taken with Respiratory Therapy Practicum I.
The following is a schedule of the Respiratory Therapy courses.
Please note that these courses are not offered at night or on weekends.
