Thank you for your interest in the Crozer Pediatric Residency Program. We are very proud of the unique educational experience that we provide our residents. Our program includes rotations at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a community hospital located just outside of Philadelphia, and at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a world-renowned pediatric tertiary care center. The residents spend approximately 25% of their time at CHOP. The program also provides residents with exposure to and involvement in numerous community organizations including schools, youth-serving groups, juvenile detention centers, and early intervention programs, to name a few. This distinctive mix of community and tertiary care pediatrics gives our residents a balanced education that prepares them to practice primary care or to pursue a fellowship.
Crozer-Chester Medical Center is a major affiliated teaching hospital of Temple University School of Medicine. Crozer faculty members have academic appointments at Temple, and Temple medical students rotate at Crozer.
We have a warm, collegial atmosphere in which the faculty really get to know and support each resident. If you join us, we will be committed to your education and to your development into excellent pediatric physicians.
Thank you again for your interest. I invite you to review our website in its entirety to learn further details about our program.
Sincerely,
Beth Moughan, M.D.
